[ To "put a ring on it" so quickly? Truthfully, it's not all that quickly in the sense that she's sat on her hands for the past six decades where it concerns Kouta, but... well, this isn't her strong suit. She's lived long enough to know how marriages work, she thinks. She's seen her fair share. Okay, more like two with any kind of sort of closeness, and that was Kouta and Akemi's marriages, and she'd tried not to look so hard at them. Maybe a few Hands. She helped facilitate a few throughout her lifetime, too, but the last time she was romantically involved with anyone was some forty-four years ago and they hadn't gotten far. Flings and one-night stands, they're different, too, and the realization has her sitting brow quirked and puzzling at the bottle in her hands. Like, she gets it, but at the same time, how...? ]

[ If she had to put a word to it, it's that. Natural. Her relationship with Kouta comes as naturally as breathing to her and natural things have a way of progressing. Er, well, naturally. They'd stuck so many pins in certain aspects of that throughout those six decades that they're just now moving, but they're moving. It's progressing and... that's okay, isn't it? Kouta hasn't seemed dissatisfied. ]

[More than working. Kouta had literally come back to her from death, and Setsura had kept enough faith to wait for him. It was literally a romance fit for one of those tear jerker dramas or shoujo mangas he'd been getting into lately.]

[ She knows he knows. He's the last person on this Earth she would have to inform, but sometimes she wonders if he realizes the extent of her affections for him. She snorts softly, fondly for them and the affection inspired at that comment about Kouta. ]

[ Is she bragging? She's bragging. She will proudly, confidently stan Kouta any day of the week, but the fact that he can keep up with her is something she adores about him. Even before that, that he'd move to match her and never settled for being treated like china had endeared him to her because he'd always invited all of her instead of nitpicking her eyes or her feathers or the strength, the stamina, the speed she possessed that had always surpassed that of her peers. She loves that about him. She also loves the mental image of Kouta wrestling Gorou in the mud and the idea of helping him clean up afterward. Maybe in a spring in the mountains? ]
Gorou is tough, but I'd put my money on Kou-kun any day of the week. We should take a weekend and put this to the test.
