general texting meme

general texting meme
To kick us off with some voice testing, here's a the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.

instructions:
What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, any preferences, a start, absolutely nothing, or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Death.

[ The word carries weight, the playfulness drained completely from his tone for the seriousness of the matter. ]

I'm informed it was not by his own hand despite what supposition you're sure to hear when this comes to light. I would appreciate your discretion. [ To say the least. ]

I'm afraid it's impossible to tell this early on. There was barely enough left of him to identify and no one's stepped forward to claim responsibility.

[ That things are certain to grow more tense in the political atmosphere goes left unsaid. ]

I expect they're already quietly emotion. He was a key figure between camps embroiled in disagreements. Tensions were already high. They're sure to escalate with the possibility of retaliation should tempers run too high.

[ Neatly said, he may sound a smidge like he's set to recline as opposed to... well, troubled. ]

You really think the Lady Amaterasu would allow it? Foreigners have no place in our politics. At best, they are humored. Nothing more.

[ Unperturbed again, perhaps a touch amused. ]

That depends upon whether or not he reincarnates. That depends on how he died, I'd wager. Gods of power and influence are truly deathless.

[ Under normal circumstances, but Muchi thinks there's something more to the method of his demise. ]

That would depend upon the motive. A reincarnated god does not retain the memories of their previous incarnation.

[ Which is to say, they can't very well tell anyone who murdered them to begin with and there are plenty of motives for murder outside of the long list that can be gleaned from present politics. Even so, a murder so thorough as to interrupt that power would be telling.

He pauses, however, in consideration of her second point and he can't quite help an internal groan. It seems he's never going to be free of the fall out and headache left in the wake of Sukuna's abrupt retirement. As tedious as things have been with his being unable to get away, as serious as things seem to be holding, he's honestly tired and mincing words is only getting more tiresome. There are days when he honestly wonders how she's survived in her position this long. Today is one of them. ]

You're an infant. You worry too much about things you'd do better leaving to your seniors. Focus on learning the ins and outs of your position and growing within it instead of concerning yourself with the hypotheticals of Heaven fading, which is ridiculous.

[ Impossible, really, for more reasons than he cares to state and not solely for the image of a certain god of thunder crushing the hand of his son recalled just now. Tedious, the lot of it. ]

[ It's a lot of assumptions, so much so that he could answer each and every point with the weighted, "I know," that stems from his age and experience and sound not unlike a child himself. That's partially his point without going into detail, without betraying the depth of his experience and station. He's lived it. They all have. They know. They're aware of problems when there are problems. They address truly concerning matters when there is weight to them, but he doesn't feel like explaining, arguing, and educating regarding a history many more times than her age in that exact moment. The same points she wields against him are exactly his and, in his mind, only a child blind in address would miss as much. Too many corrections to dole out without making a spreadsheet of his own, perhaps. ]

Your cup is too full.

[ So full there's room for no new addition. How can you learn when you already know everything? She does seem to have it all figured out, after all. That usual energy flares as though it had never been depressed. ]

Well, I'm sure you'll figure it out. Do take care, Sukunabikona-san.
