talk about yourself: According to some people, I'm some kind of creative menace from the depths of hell and a top tier enabler, but I like to think of myself as an enthusiastic and cute trash panda trapped in a mortal form who spreads joy wherever I go and brings people together sometimes in cool and original ways over ocs and stuff. I'm a grandma of the RP world and I usually get into fandoms pretty late and stick around them for millenia? I'm also really bad at being concise. That's the only disclaimer you're getting. You're welcome. /finger guns
interests: Writing, rp, animanga, vidyagames, mythology and folk lore, music, swimming, fishing, my chickens, raising hell ig, making original barbies on the internet and screaming with other people about them
fandoms: Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo!OVA/Kajishimaverse, Gundam Wing, Legend of Zelda, Inuyasha, Final Fantasy(ies), Magic Knight Rayearth, Arc the Lad (I-IV, we don't talk about EoD), Gundam 00, Kingdom Hearts, Persona 3, Kamen Rider, KHR!, H-Homestuck/Hiveswap sort of, Aoex, Bob's Burgers, My Hero Academia!, the Good Place -- honestly, I've got a lot more than I can list here concisely and not everything is main stream. If you're curious whether or not I'm into something, just ask.
three fave and three least fave rp or character tropes: Idk man. I seem to be really into like deep, transcendental, ride-or-die relationships of any flavor and found family off the top of my head? My least favorite things in rp and character tropes is one dimensional characters without any depth or roundness and when female characters are left to the wayside.
characters in thm: Setsura Yamaguchi ([personal profile] chichichi), Maren Uezawa ([personal profile] analyticute), Muchi/Ōnamuchi/Ōkuninushi-no-kami ([personal profile] bythehare), Yamaru Arashi ([personal profile] stormgathers), and I've got another coming, so buckle up, kids!
oc creation process: It varies, but my most successful OCs start with me developing out of an idea (ie. magical spear girl, yosuzume, Onamuchi-no-mikoto), sometimes with a face but not always, and researching via general research sites like Wiki and more professional sorts where I can find them. I pinpoint the world type (Earth template, high fantasy original, etc.) early on as it helps me in building and direction. If I get into a specific genre or have a target for the character(s), I completely cut myself off from watching/reading any series in the same vein and relegate myself to research sites and pages re: any and all real world information available. That way, if there's overlap, it's coincidental/due to source material/research unless I'm intentionally paying homage to something. There's generally a lot of brainstorming and research involved with cohesiveness in the build to secure logic and sense via connects in personality, history, etc. It's a very involved process and I usually go hard throughout it and whole, involved universes easily follow.
rp wish: Y'all, I have already had so many dreams come true that I never thought would happen?? I can't think of anything that seems super unlikely off the top of my head atm. I want more threads forever.
